Geek vs Nerd vs Dork

Seeing as how I’m an old, creepy robot thing, I’ve been called everything from a geek, nerd, dork, 4-eyes, screech (yes the creepy dustin diamond screech), gonzo, right down to poindexter (thank you bum guy begging for change outside my apartment for that one). Yeah even the bums on milk crates.

Now that being a geek is cool and geek culture has turned into pop culture, everyone is calling themselves a geek, not that there’s anything wrong with that. I’m glad our kind have risen up and taken back the name and made it cool. But then again, there’s nerds and dorks too.

One of the questions us self-proclaimed dorky nerds (whoa, totally blew your mind with that combo didn’t I?) often get asked, is what’s the difference between them?
