Awesome Cosplays from Fan Expo 2013

The good part of big shows like Fan Expo is that cosplayers are on the top of their game. Stakes are raised and nerds come from all over the country and beyond to look their best.

With this year’s show being the biggest Fan Expo yet, it was impossible to turn around without seeing some sharp-dressed geek attracting the awe of fanboys and fangirls alike. People’s dedication and love paid off, resulting in a plethora of unique and stunning costumes seen on the show floor through out the weekend, as well as in Saturday’s masquerade competition.

FanExpo often promotes their costumed fans as a part of the show’s attractions, which has been received by the cosplay community with mixed feelings. But this year, the politics of cosplay and convention programming proved to be no obstacle for people’s ability to have fun.
