Assassin’s Creed IV Gameplay Reveal Trailer

This new gameplay reveal trailer is nothing short of beautiful – something I’ve always admired from the gang at Ubisoft. Their attention to detail in their environments and landscapes have always impressed me and looks like I won’t be disappointed with AC4.

In this new installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, you play as Edward Kenway, father of the Assassin’s Creed III’s antagonist, Haytham Kenway. In AC4, you play as a pirate, along with other legendary pirates such as Blackbeard, Calico Jack and Benjamin Hornigold, as you establish a republic in the Bahamas.

Although AC3 got some mediocre reivews, I still enjoyed it and am still playing it in fact. I did enjoy the snippets of the game play and cinematics while at sea, and have always wanted to play a pirate-themed game. I’m really hoping this might be that game that I’m looking for to scratch that pirate itch.

Synopsis:

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag begins in 1715, when pirates established a lawless republic in the Caribbean and ruled the land and seas. These outlaws paralyzed navies, halted international trade, and plundered vast fortunes. They threatened the power structures that ruled Europe, inspired the imaginations of millions, and left a legacy that still endures.
