Is Rick’s gun in The Walking Dead really the best for a zombie apocalypse?

A lot of people, myself included, always wonder why writers or directors often choose the weapons they do for their stories. Personally I’ve always been a fan of Ash’s chainsaw hand/boomstick combo but let’s face it, you probably wouldn’t last too long with that unless you had unlimited gas, ammo and maybe an extra hand (although you’d look totally badass).

In celebration of the Walking Dead premier this week, the folks at LuckyGunner assessed and reviewed this .357 magnun to determine whether or not it would be an ideal weapon of choice in the upcoming zombie apocalypse (c’mon, we all know it’s coming).
