Nerd Accomplishment! Doctor Who makes the cover of TV Guide

To all of you who scoff at us Doctor Who fans (and yes, I used to be one of those scoffers until David Tennant charmed my pants off) I say, stick a jammy dodger in your face and EAT IT!

The Doctor beat out several massive shows for the fan favorite cover of TV Guide, and it’s about time. Doctor Who has been on the air for over 30 years, and only now are American’s admitting they actually like it. The Doctor’s eleventh and current incarnation, Matt  Smith was over the moon when he heard news of the win.

That’s amazing! Thank you to everyone who voted, because this is a huge, huge accolade. Fans mustn’t underestimate their role in the emergence of the show in America.

The fans have spoken, and if you’re not a fan of the show already, I highly recommend watching it at least once. The writing and performances will hook you… just don’t blink.
