WATCH: New Doctor Who Season 7 Trailer
Lucky attendees at the Doctor Who Convention in Cardiff, Wales this weekend caught a sneak peek of the trailer for Doctor Who‘s seventh season. This morning the trailer went live on BBC’s website.
Season 7 will feature the departure of Karen Gillian and Arthur Darvill as companions Amy and Rory Pond. Their departure will coinciding with the return of the notoriously terrifying weeping angels. The Christmas Special will mark the arrival of Jenna-Louise Coleman as The Doctor’s new companion. Not to mention that this will be Doctor Who‘s 50th anniversary. It’s kind of a big deal.
The trailer features new footage from the upcoming season including footage shot on the sets of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (one of my favourites!) in Almeria, Spain and shots of Ben Browder (you may know him as Creighton from Farscape). You may even catch a hint of Dalek.
