Penguin Cam: Discovery & Sea World Bring The Best Distraction.
Oh, Mondays. We all know they suck. But today, when you get home from work, this might cheer you up. Actually, I know it will.
Discovery Channel, along with Sea World, is hosting PENGUIN CAM! in celebration of Frozen Planet, a documentary special starting March 18th.
Penguin Cam will be live 24 hours a day throughout March and April — plenty of time to get to know SeaWorld San Diego’s nearly 300 penguins, representing all five Antarctic species: emperors, kings, Adélies, gentoos and macaronis.
Penguin Cam not looking crystal clear? It’s very cold in the exhibit (25°F), and penguins will be penguins, so at times the picture won’t look perfect. Our cam operators are actively addressing these issues, so if things don’t look great right now, please try again later. Also, SeaWorld is constantly monitoring the penguins’ health and safety. If a penguin hasn’t moved for a while, just sit back, relax and watch it sleep. It’ll be up again in no time.
I’ve been watching this for days and it’s ridiculously entertaining. And adorable. AND ALL THE PENGUINS. Heeeeeeee…
