Labyrinth Returns To Canadian Theatres For A Single Show. No, I’m Not Kidding.

Monday, March 19th, will be the most sacred of days…..the Second Coming of Jesus Jareth.

While sporadically shown throughout rep cinemas due to its (understandable) cult following, a country-wide viewing on this scale is nothing short of epic.

All across Canada, Cineplex Odeon Theatres will be playing Labyrinth, a.k.a. The Best Movie Ever, for one show. Just one.

Since not everyone has seen Labyrinth (I know…it makes me sad, too) I’ll post the story:

Teenage Sarah is left to babysit her baby brother Toby and he will not stop crying. So Sarah tries to put the baby to sleep by reading him a story. When she accidentally conjures up the Goblin King from the fantasy, he steals the baby and takes him to his castle, which is in the middle of a labyrinth. Now Sarah must solve the labyrinth by midnight, or Toby will be turned into a goblin.

If you’re still not convinced, watch this:

If you need more convincing…then you’re dead to me. I refuse to spoil the amazement.

For everyone else…get your tickets ASAP. This WILL sell out in your city if it hasn’t already. Especially since they’re only FIVE DOLLARS.

I’m so excited I could pee.

thanks for the heads up. That Trailer is horrific. They should just play the Magic Dance. That’s the best song ever.
