17 minutes of Borderlands 2 game play: Siren & Gunzerker

I got my hands on this in the wee hours of Sunday morning at PAX East last month and I sucked! To be fair, I’m still not that familiar with the X-BOX controller but, I was able to figure it out enough to shoot things before getting my ass handed to me by a “Badass Varkid.” More below.

Borderlands is the only shooter I actually like so I was pretty stoked when GearBox Software announced its sequel, Borderlands 2 back in August.

Dual wielding machine guns is crazy, stupid fun but, I’m pretty sure I’ll be rocking the Siren as per usual when the game drops later this year on September 18th.

In the meantime, here’s a detailed look of what you can expect from Borderlands 2. IGN‘s Charles Onyett and Anthony Gallegos demo the Siren and Gunzerker classes while discussing the differences between the new game and the original.
